Samantha Testa is the owner and artist behind the Brookland DC watercolor and calligraphy studio, Painted Palettes. As a former first-grade teacher, Sam enjoys teaching workshops to adults, making custom watercolor house portraits for clients, making custom gifts at live events, and finding inspiration around her home city, Washington DC. Join Western Market during the D.C. Cherry Blossom Season to create your own artwork commemorating the beautiful “sakura” blossoms. Tickets are $90.50 and include a two-hour professionally instructed paint class, paint kit (brushes, paint, canvas, etc.), and a complimentary Western Market canvas tote bag (perfect for carrying food and beverages from any Western Market vendor).
