Throughout dinner service two wine representatives will walk the dining room offering $12 glasses of Cantele Amativo, a blend of 60% Primitivo and 40% Negroamaro. Part of the fun is that they'll be pouring from 3-liter double-magnum bottles also referred to as “formati importanti” in Italy, referring to the fact that these impressively sized bottles are reserved for “important” wines and allow for slow and graceful aging. This wine pairs particularly well with pizza, so L'Ardente is adding theirlunchtime Bresaola pizza topped with cured Wagyu beef, tomato mornay sauce, Cacio de Roma cheese, frisée and salsa verde to thedinner menu for the special occasion!
