Del Ray Holiday Season Kick-Off

Join the Del Ray community as you light the community Christmas tree and Menorah. Enjoy thousands of luminarias along Mt. Vernon Avenue, sing holiday carols at the Del Ray Farmer’s Market, sit on Santa’s lap and have a photo taken, visit businesses that will be open late for shoppers and offering holiday specials and check out the hand-painted holiday windows, and listen to special performances by the T.C. Williams High School Choir. In the spirit of the holidays, there will be a collection of needy items for Carpenter's Shelter. Please bring any of the following to the Holiday Kick-Off and drop in the marked boxes: disposable diapers, washcloths, toothpaste & toothbrushes, deodorant, razors/shaving cream, Metro Smart Trip Cards, and Target or Wal-Mart gift cards.
