New Orchestra of Washington will be performing their popular "Day of the Dead" concert, Dia de Los Muertos, comprised of and dedicated to Mexican composers. The performance will be conducted by NOW's Artistic Director, Alejandro Hernandez-Valdez, a native himself of Guadalajara, Mexico. The concert has become a tradition for NOW, and this year will feature works from composers such as Jorge Vidales, Jose Pablo Moncayo, Silvestre Revuelta, Arturo Márquez, and solos from Jesus Daniel Hernandez, tenor, and Danielle Talamantes, soprano.
