Celebrate the 174th anniversary of the University of the District of Columbia with a free panel discussion on the evolution of DC’s teaching schools. Join the Heurich House Museum, the Charles Sumner School Museum and Archives, and UDC in the museum’s conservatory for “Legacy & Inheritance,” exploring the impact of Myrtilla Miner’s “Normal School for Colored Girls” to today’s UDC. The museum’s bar will be open with local craft beverages available for purchase before and after the program.
