A select group of thirty guests will have the opportunity to attend an exclusive preview reading of The American Five before its world premiere in Washington, D.C. Presented by Ford’s Theatre, this staged reading shares the powerful story of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the circle of visionaries who helped craft the historic “I Have a Dream” speech.
The evening begins at 7:00 PM with a wine reception and passed hors d’oeuvres in the intimate setting of the Salamander Library. At 7:45 PM, the reading will feature performances by Ro Boddie, Renea S. Brown, Stephen Conrad Moore, Aaron Bliden, and Yao Dogbe.
