DMV Food Recovery Week
Virtual & In-Person
The global pandemic has revealed even more how much we need a more resilient food system – one that sustains the earth and provides sufficient, nutritious food for all who need it. This series of free virtual and in-person workshops, presentations, and networking opportunities will teach creative ways to become more self-sufficient, reduce food waste, and support a more resilient local food system. DMV Food Recovery Week is hosted by Montgomery County’s Community Food Rescue, Manna Food Center, the DC Food Recovery Working Group, the Montgomery County Food Council, and the Prince George’s County Food Equity Council. All events in this series are free of charge and will take place online and in-person between October 16th through October 22nd. For more information and to register, please click here.
