The Colonnade at Fairmont Washington, D.C., Georgetown is the place to be in America's capital city for Easter Sunday Brunch. Executive Chef Jordi Gallardo and his culinary team will prepare a variety of regional favorites and innovative gourmet specialties, all artfully styled in seemingly infinite buffets. During brunch, the Easter Bunny will visit with children of all ages and will also hold an Easter Egg Hunt in the hotel’s courtyard. Among Chef’s Easter Brunch offerings is a seafood display featuring jumbo prawns, crab claws, black mussels and oysters on the half shell with Marie Rose dipping sauce. Easter entrée selections include a carving station of honey and clove glazed bone-in ham, apple wood smoked beef strip loin, veal jus, signature dishes including herb roasted whole chicken, natural jus, pan-seared salmon, tomato & Pernod broth and grilled beef steak, cilantro chimichurri dressing. Brunch classics including house-made pastries and an egg and omelet station are just a sampling of these the many offerings on the Easter buffet. The children’s buffet includes BBQ grilled chicken fingers, miniature hamburgers, tater tots, grilled vegetables and the ever popular macaroni and cheese. Save room for Pastry Chef Charles Froke’s decadent pastry display, guaranteed to please any sweet tooth. Mimosas, Bloody Marys and sparkling wine is included for adults along with 3-hours of complimentary valet parking during brunch. $95 per person, $40 for children 5 to 12 years old and free for children under 5.
