EDENS’ Gameday Programming For Washington Kastles

The Washington Kastles kick ­off their 2019 World TeamTennis season in a new stadium specially constructed by leading national retail real estate owner, operator and developer EDENS on the rooftop at Union Market. Some of the world’s top players, including Kastles’ star and 23-time Grand Slam Champion Venus Williams, will play eight matches in the new 700-seat stadium, making the pro tennis league's season the first-ever event on the rooftop of the popular DC destination, offering sweeping views of the District and unparalleled gameday experiences for Kastles fans. The Kastles roster also includes former world number 13 Nick Kyrgios and Maryland native Frances Tiafoe. During the 2019 Kastles season, the Union Market District will host a series of events, programs, pop-ups and watch parties, giving the Washington community a unique, free-and-open-to-the-public Kastles experience. This includes: viewing parties at Neal Place (Union Market entrance), ping pong tournaments in partnership with DC FRAY, the United States Tennis Association Mid-Atlantic community programming will have skills drills, mini court practice and giveaways, as well as food and drink specials.
