Fairmont’s 14th Annual Howl-O-Ween
2401 M Street NW
Fairmont Washington, D.C., Georgetown’s beloved Canine Ambassador, Georgie the yellow Labrador, is once again inviting pups and their people to celebrate the spooky season in style at the hotel’s 14th Annual Howl-O-Ween on Thursday, October 30 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Courtyard Bar. This festive evening promises tail-wagging fun with prizes awarded at 7:00 p.m. for the best-costumed dogs and their humans, judged by a panel of local celebrities. Categories include Most Creative, Most Adorable, Funniest, and Honorable Mentions, with prizes ranging from overnight stays to dining experiences.
Furry friends will enjoy house-made peanut butter doggie biscuits crafted by Fairmont’s pastry team and refresh at canine coolers throughout the courtyard, while humans can sip on spooky Halloween-themed cocktails and indulge their pets with “Puptails.” Guests are encouraged to enter through the M Street Alley directly into the courtyard. The event is free to attend, but registration is encouraged through Fairmont’s Howl-O-Ween page.
Born in 2018 at Guiding Eyes for the Blind, Georgie was originally trained to become a guide dog but quickly discovered her true calling in hospitality. Now a cherished member of the Fairmont family, she spends her days greeting guests and hosting special events like this one.
