Flight Wine School - January 2021
Online Event
Join Flight Wine School in continuing to explore the world of wine, albeit in a new format. Each month there is a virtual class in which you will taste and discuss wines offered in a featured wine bag. The bags, containing three bottles of wine, can be picked up at Flight prior to the class. This class, you will visit a small producer in Morgon in Beaujolais. You will be tasting a gamay produced with a focus on natural wine making and terroir. From there, you will travel back to the states to taste a favorite pinot noir from the west coast. An interesting comparison to the one from the last class and a continuation of the conversation about old world and new world wines. You'll end in Australia with winemakers making new world wine with old world philosophies. You will be tasting a grenache blend. The virtual class is prived at $150. Price of the ticket includes one wine bag with three bottles of wine and the zoom class for two guests. Once you have bought your ticket, your bag will be ready to be picked up at Flight. You may pick it up on Saturday, January 1st or between Tuesday, January 5th and Friday, January 8th between the hours of 4:00 and 9:00 p.m. You will receive an email with the virtual class details prior to Saturday, January 9th.
