Govinda Live Presents "Elvis at 21" at 1310 Kitchen & Bar

Join 1310 Kitchen & Bar for a night of everything Elvis with “Govinda Live” - a presentation where Sound and Vision examines the crucial connection between the visual image and rock music through photographs. The first of several pop-ups throughout the year from the Sound and Vision series at the newly renovated 1310 Kitchen and Bar in Georgetown, will showcase everything Elvis at 21! Visionary curator of the former, beloved Govinda Gallery in DC, Chris Murray, known for his world-renowned exhibits including the famous, initial showing of Andy Warhol's works, will guide the guests through the gifted eye of Alfred Wertheimer’s photographs during Elvis Presley’s prime age of 21!

Chef and owner Jenn Crovato of 1310 will present food and drink inspired by the Mississippi native, while Murray walks you through a unique visual record of the most exciting and influential performer of the 20th century with a "burning love" for music.
