Hangover Hog Roast

For those who partied a little too hard the night before, Jack Rose is once again hosting its annual Hangover Hog Roast, just in time for when people start rolling out of bed. Hosted on the heated and covered rooftop terrace, the non-ticketed/open to the public event will feature a WhistlePig whiskey tasting, hangover-friendly “Pig Plates” of pork and Southern sides, discounted whiskey flights, and cocktail and beer specials. If you are in need of a little morning-after sustenance, enjoy plates of pulled pork, Hoppin’ John (a Southern dish featuring black eyed peas for good luck in the new year), collard greens and cornbread for just $15 all afternoon. Discounted WhistlePig whiskey flights will also be available, featuring both approachable and rare releases. Other hog roast specials include $10 WhistlePig cocktails, $5 draft beers, and half-priced bites. The bar will also play the Rose Bowl and Sugar Bowl on its four large flat screen TVs.
