In his first cookbook, My America: Recipes from a Young Black Chef, the acclaimed author and James Beard Award-winning chef shares over one hundred and twenty-five dishes showcasing the true diversity of American food. Interwoven throughout Onwuachi's celebration of the food of African Diaspora as handed down through his own family history is Onuwuachi's own travel stories, illuminating the connections between food and culture. The event will be held in person and virtually. Tickets for the event are $18 per person (in-person) and $12 per person (virtual).
