Leonardo da Vinci, the new two-part, four-hour film from executive producer Ken Burns, explores the life and work of the 15th-century polymath, one of humankind’s most curious and innovative minds. Through the artist’s paintings, scientific and engineering pursuits, and writings, Leonardo da Vinci finds in his soaring imagination and profound intellect the foundation for a conversation we are still having today about our relationship with nature and what it means to be human. This preview event will include segments from the film, followed by a panel discussion with directors Ken Burns, Sarah Burns, and David McMahon, moderated by Alyssa Rosenberg of The Washington Post.
