Mark Your Calendar: Longview Farm Hosts Guest Chef

Sweeping meadows filled with cows, chickens, and heritage pigs. Wild woodlands along the Potomac River. Long stretches of tomatoes and salad greens and flowers. And all with a view of Mount Vernon and Washington D.C. This expansive land has been in the Breese family since the 1940s and was once a traditional tobacco farm. Now it’s filled with friendly farm animals and friendly farmers. Penelope and Stevenson are very generous hosts. Guest chef DJ Neal worked with David Thomas of Ida B’s Table at Even’ Star Farm last year, and now he’s back to helm the field kitchen himself.
