Mount Vernon District Summer Palooza

Mount Vernon District Supervisor Dan Storck invites the community to the inaugural Mount Vernon District Summer Palooza on Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Mount Vernon Governmental Center. This free, family-friendly celebration promises a full afternoon of outdoor fun for all ages.

Guests can enjoy live music by Riptide, complimentary food, a petting zoo with animals from Frying Pan Park, and a wide variety of exhibitors featuring information on dogs, environmental resources, county services, and more. The event also features a kids zone, touch-a-truck experiences, and a beer garden hosted by Bunnyman Brewing.

Additional parking is available at Whitman Middle School and Sherwood Regional Library, with assistance from the Fairfax County Police Department for safe road crossing. The event is rain or shine, so attendees are encouraged to come prepared and join in on a lively day of summer fun in the sun.
