This New Year’s Eve, Brookland’s Finest will serve a New Orleans style distiller dinner for two in collaboration with local rum distillery, Cotton & Reed. Chef and co-owner, Shannan Troncoso, has designed a three-course menu with Cajun-inspired favorites paired with cocktails using Cotton & Reed. Guests can enjoy a Cajun cobb salad with grilled andouille sausage, bell peppers, romaine hearts, spicy deviled eggs, toasted pecans and brown-mustard vinaigrette paired with a Vieux Carré. The second course features a Creole tomahawk steak: blackened steak, shrimp Creole sauce, holy trinity rice and spicy broccolini paired with aHenhouse Sazerac. The meal finishes off with king cake cupcakes paired with a Hurricane.  Tables can be booked between 4:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Tickets cost $65 for two guests.
