NORTHERN NECK WINE, BREW & SPIRITS FEST

Savor the flavor of Virginia wines, craft beer and spirits at Rice's Hotel / Hughlett's Tavern in Heathsville. The festival is in conjunction with the season-opening of the Heathsville Farmers Market. Shoppers will find farm-fresh produce, bread and baked goods, flowers and nursery plants, local meat and eggs, and unique locally-made handcrafts. Wineries are Good Luck Cellars, General's Ridge Winery, Vault Fields Vineyards, Caret Cellars, Mattaponi Winery and new Vintners Cellars will have information about their soon-to-open winery. Port City Brewery, Copper Fox Distillery and Bondurant Brothers Distillery will be on hand. There will be exhibits and activities, all with an Earth Day theme. Tasting tickets are $10 and include an etched glass for tastings. Festival hours are 11:00 a.m.to 4:00 p.m.
