Olney Farmers & Artists Market
2801 Olney-Sandy Spring Road, Olney, MD
The 2020 Spring/Summer season of the Olney Farmers Market begins on Mother's Day, with changes due to the pandemic. The Market is considered essential, similar to a supermarket serving the community by offering fresh, healthy produce. During the pandemic, the market will open one hour early, and hospital workers will receive a 20% discount during that first hour. All vendors and customers must wear masks, the market will provide gloves at the info booth and hand washing station. Hand sanitizer will be sold for a donation at the info booth. Social distancing monitors will be stationed at two entrances to the market, and the other entrances will be closed in order to control access to the market and limiting number of customers at any given time. This is a grab 'n go market, with many vendors offering prepared boxes and pre-orders. Cash is discouraged, and there will be no children's activities, music, or chef tent until the pandemic ends. 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. For more information, please click here.
