Prepare to go on a roller coaster ride of emotions and have yours mind blown. Pens and Swords is an open mic experience host by C. Alexandria-Bernard Thomas at Dupont Undergound. For 2 hours artists, including Pi-Anir the Poet, will share their truth and raise their voice in the name of savage advocacy and activism. A valid ID (event is ages 21+) and proof of vaccination (digital or printed) or a negative Covid-19 test from within the last 24 hours is required for entry. Masks must be worn at all times regardless of vaccination status. Tickets are $12 per person, or $8 per person with a student, military, or senior ID, and can be purchased here. The event is from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
