Rainbow Pride Cake

At Osteria Morini, pastry chef, Tova Hillman and team are celebrating Capital Pride Festival with a colorful and decadent Rainbow Italian Almond Cake. The cake, made from a fine almond flour blend, is five layers of colorful almond cake separated by sweet and tangy layers of raspberry and apricot jam and coated in a silky dark chocolate glaze. The five layer Rainbow Almond Cake will be offered through June 9th, for $11 with 20% of the proceeds going to Casa Ruby. Casa Ruby gathers and shares success stories among transgender, genderqueer, gender non-conforming, gay, lesbian and bisexual individuals to strengthen community and understanding. For more information, please click here.
