Safely-Distanced Derby Days Rooftop Celebration

When:
May 01,2021 – May 01,2021 all-day
Where:
Jack Rose Dining Saloon
2007 18th Street NW

Celebrating “the greatest two minutes in sports” once again, albeit a bit differently this year, Jack Rose will host its 9th Annual Derby Day Viewing Party on the open-air, safely-spaced Rooftop Terrace. The ticketed party ($30/person, excluding tax & gratuity) guarantees each reservation a socially-distanced table with direct views of the race on several flat screen TVs (with sound) for two hours, plus a round of classic Mint Juleps and a platter of Derby themed bites for the table. Other special offerings will be available a la carte, including Frozen "Two Minute Mojitos," passed hors d’oeuvres (think: Kentucky hot browns, deviled eggs, buttermilk biscuits and pimento cheese), Jack Rose’s new spring dinner and cocktail menu, plus and beer, wine, and of course, plenty of bourbon by the ounce, for those who prefer to sip Kentucky’s finest neat. Pre-paid reservations are available via Resy, for 5:00 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. seatings (just in time for the race’s 6:57 p.m. post time). Walk-ins and non-Derby guests will also be welcome based on availability, but not guaranteed Derby viewing. Guests are encouraged to don their Derby best – bow ties, seersucker, and big hats.
