The food chain, from field and sea to plate, depends on the labor of immigrants, many of whom are undocumented. The SFUSA Food and Farm Policy Steering Committee are dedicated to engaging communities in critical policies affecting our food chain via virtual, moderated discussions among informed panelists. This panel will focus on our essential immigrant farm and food chain workers, and the public policies affecting them and their families, and the farmers, ranchers, and processors who rely on their labors. The goal is to examine the equity and efficacy of past and proposed policies and the advocacy actions SFUSA supporters might take in support of the immigrant workers who feed America. Registration is free and the event will be live starting at 2:00 p.m. To register and for more information please click here.
