On Father’s Day, St. Anselm invites dads to step away from the grill and into Father’s Day Brunch. Father’s Day Brunch at St. Anselm is headlined by the massive bone-in 65 oz. Ax Handle Ribeye ($2.95/oz.) and the loved Butcher’s Steak basted with garlic butter ($28). Steak is featured in many forms, also including Shit on the Shingle, Chef Marjorie Meek-Bradley’s brunch version of the historic military dish featuring paper-thin chipped beef, umami-laden, creamy gravy and spongy white bread made in house. Other dishes include Oysters with Grits which are served with a poached egg in a hot sauce hollandaise and Butcher Steak + Eggs which bring dads the decadence of St. Anselm’s butcher steak with béarnaise, two eggs and hash browns.  Indulge on Chef Meek-Bradley’s homemade poppy seed crullers with a tangy lemon glaze, pillow-soft malted chocolate-chip pancakes with fresh bananas and whipped cream or the thick-cut sourdough French toast topped with strawberries and whipped cream.
