Restauranteur Antonio Matarazzo and Chef Matteo Venini are opening their third location of Stellina Pizzeria within the space that was once The Waffle Shop. Like the Union Market and Shirlington locations, it will focus on Neo-Neapolitan pizzas, as well as street food inspired by the southern coast of Italy, sandwiches served on pizza dough, handmade pastas, and salads all paired with Italian wines, beers and spirits. Paying homage to The Waffle Shop roots, new additions to the menu include a waffle panini with mortadella, spicy red onion marmalade, pistachio cream, stacchino cheese, and roasted truffled potato.
