'Summer On A Plate' Garden Vegetarian Menu

With Summer garden produce almost at its height, Chef Eric Ziebold and Kinship restaurant will highlight an innovative vegetarian four-course prix fixe menu utilizing just-picked ingredients from L’Abeille Garden. The special “From the Garden” menu will be offered Sundays and Mondays in Kinship. L’Abeille Garden is the name of the garden where Ziebold farms his own produce at RdV Vineyards in Delaplane, VA. The “From the Garden” menu is driven by what is grown and is currently available. Throughout the season guests will have Ziebold’s incorporations of various vegetables, fruits and herbs including: La Ratte potatoes, Aji Dulce peppers, Lipstick peppers, asparagus, Spring garlic, tomatoes - (Purple Cherokee, Sun Gold, Red Cherry), cardoon, celtuce, Fairytale pumpkin, blackberries, Golden raspberries, anise hyssop, lemongrass, lemon verbena, ginger, Purple basil, Cinnamon basil, Genovese basil, Tulsi basil, lavender, oregano, Rosemary, rue, English thyme, tarragon, spearmint and Za’Atar.
