Have you ever wondered about the hygiene practices of people in America 200 years ago? Now is your chance to see soaps, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and other toiletry items left behind by the Peter family members. Guests will be able to visit the upstairs bathroom, modernized in 1914, with all artifacts in tact. Following the tour, join staff for a cocktail and light hors d'ouerves in the Dower House. Brush up for the evening by reviewing the Peter family's portable water closet as discussed by Curator Rob DeHart. Entry is free for Tudor Place members, $10 per student with a valid school ID, or $25 for non-members; tickets can be purchased here. Tours and the reception will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
