Austria produces a relatively small quantity of wine, but most if it is very high in quality. Gruner Veltliner has put Austrian wine on the map over the last few decades, but there is much more to love. Austria’s dry whites and lusciously sweet wines are in demand around the world, with exciting reds made from indigenous varieties gaining popularity. This class will explore the grapes and regions that makes Austrian wine worth seeking out.
