D.C.'s longest-running restaurant tasting event returns — and in 2019, it's more appetizing than ever. Join Friends of the National Zoo for ZooFari: Bite Night, a benefit for wildlife sponsored by GEICO. This glamorous evening features exotic animals, unforgettable entertainment and the best gourmet bites in the city. Enjoy delicious food from the D.C. area's best restaurants and fine wine from its best vintners, all while supporting the Smithsonian’s work to save endangered animals around the world. Enjoy complimentary beer, wine, soft drinks, water, and complimentary food tastings from Washington, D.C.’s top restaurants. You can meet the animals up close, bid at a silent auction with animal-themed items and exclusive getaways, and enjoy live entertainment and activities. Guests must be at least 21 years old and present a valid photo ID. No babies, children or strollers will be allowed. Smoking is not permitted at the Zoo. ZooFari will be held rain or shine. $225 per person, or $175 per person for Friends of the National Zoo members.
