CHANG CHANG
1200 19th Street NW
Chef Peter Chang and his daughter Lydia Chang have opened their new dual restaurant concept, Chang Chang, in Dupont Circle. This 5,000 square-foot space located in Mai Thai's former location, is a two-in-one restaurant with parallel dine-in and carryout services, which function separately. There is little to no overlap between the two operations. Chang-In, the full-service side of Chang Chang offers a new take on seasonal modern Chinese cuisine, and Simon Lam will head the kitchen. It will also offer a fixed-price lunch special on weekdays. Chang-Out features carryout and delivery options from Peter Chang's popular locations such as pan-fried dumplings, mapo tofu, egg plant with spicy garlic sauce, and more. Chang-In is set to open on Thursday, October 20th. Chang Out is open daily from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.; Chang In is open for Lunch on Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m., Dinner on Sunday through Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 5:00 p.m. until 10:30 p.m., and Brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 11:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m.; For more information, visit their website here.
