Chef David Deshaies and Restaurateur Eric Eden have opened L'Ardente, a stylish and contemporary Italian restaurant, in the Capitol Crossing development located in D.C.'s East End neighborhood. This 9,000 square foot space is the first restaurant to open in the Capitol Crossing development and seats up to 180 guests. L'Ardente boasts an elevated island bar, private dining area, an all-season patio, and lunch and brunch services on the weekends. The team at L'Ardente consists of Chef Leena Ali who serves as chef de cuisine, Chef Logan Griffin who as head pizzaiolo, Andy Clark who crafts the pasta selection, and the pastry program is ran by Masaharu Morimoto and Joël Robuchon.
