The highly anticipated contemporary brasserie, L'Avant-Garde, has officially opened its doors in Georgetown. The French restaurant comes from Fady Saba, which brings a buzzy, sophisticated French brasserie rooted in classic technique. Michelin Star Chef Gilles Epiè serves as the Executive Chef at L'Avant-Garde. Some menu highlights at this new concept include Beignet de Foie Gras de Canrad Caramèlisè, Saint-Pierre Cuit Lentement, Chautebriand, and much more. Sommelier Samantha McCrimmon has currated a wide range of wines offered at L'Avant-Garde, that are meant to complement the food and expand guests knowledge of French wines. Beverage Director Hakim Hamid has created a cocktail menu that bridges the flavors and ingredients between the cocktail list and food menu. L'Avant-Garde is open Tuesday through Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 12:00 a.m., and Friday and Saturday from 5:00 p.m. until 1:00 a.m.; 202.652.1855. For more information, visit their Instagram here
