The founders of Cava, Ike Grigoropoulos, Dimitri Moshovitis, and Ted Xenohristos, have opened their second full-service restaurant in North Bethesda's Pike and Rose development. Melina, named after Moshovitis' daughter, is a full-service, "fine casual", Greek restaurant, with a vegetable-forward menu. Melina features menu options such as salt-baked beets and pork belly gyro. This 3,600 square-foot space can seat up to 90, and features floor to ceiling windows that can open up to the patio, for guests to enjoy outdooor dining.
