Mixologist David Strauss has opened a new bar, O.K.P.B., in Mount Pleasant, more than two years after closing his speakeasy, The Sheppard. This new 900 square-foot concept is open six days a week, and guests are greeted by a host after ringing a bell for entry. Many elements from The Sheppard still remain at O.K.P.B. like weekday happy hours, cocktails written on yellow memo sheets, wall color, and more. All glasswear will be chilled at below zero degree temperatures and fruit will be juiced behind the bar. O.K.P.B. is open Monday through Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 12:00 a.m., and Friday and Saturday from 5:00 p.m. until 2:00 a.m.
