Acclaimed Sommelier, Brent Kroll, has opened a new sparkling bar, Pop, for all things carbonated in D.C.'s Shaw neighborhood. Guests can get excited for a menu filled with all the carbonated selections, from seltzers, kombucha, sake, pet-nat, champagne, and sparkling cocktails (approximately 50 options). There will also be a sparkling bottle list at this 40-seat fizz bar. Guests will find some lesser-known effervescents, along with carbonated house cocktails and beers. Chef Bart Hutchins oversees the food program at Pop, which features some of Kroll's favorite bites that pair well with bubbles such as Foie Gras Chicken Nuggets, Caviar Doughnuts, Duck Heart Crunch Wrap Supreme, and more. Pop is open Monday through Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 12:00 a.m., Friday and Saturday from 3:00 p.m. unti; 1:00 a.m., and Sunday from 3:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. ; For more information, visit their website here.
