ST. JAMES

Openings
2017 14th Street NW

Jeanine Prime has officially opened her long-anticipated modern Carribean restaurant, St. James in D.C.'s U Street Corrdior. This 2,500 square-foot concept boasts a 67-seat dining room, a 14-seat bar, and a 12-seat seasonal patio. St. James features dishes that highlight the diversity of Carribean cuisine and its melting pot of cultures, along with cocktails, beer, and wine. Named after a district in Trinidad's capital, St. James will be more Pan-Carribean than sister restaurant, Cane, and includes some menu items that are often undervalued. St. James is a collaborative effort between Chef Emma Hernandez and Chef Alfredo Romero Contreras. St. James is open for dinner service from Monday through Thursday from 5:30 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 5:30 p.m. until 11:00 p.m.; For more information, visit their Instagram here.
