Mozzeria, a San-Francisco based Neapolitan style pizzeria, has just opened their first DC location. Most notably, Mozzeria is run entirely by deaf or hard-of-hearing workers. CEO Ryan Maliszewski has placed a large emphasis on the visual atmosphere, partnering with CORE architecture + design to curate and maximize lighting and window placement. Currently, diners can either order online or at the restaurant for takeout. Mozzeria's 10,000 pound pizza oven cooks pies in 90 seconds and is pumping out pizzas ranging from Margherita, Mushroom, and Italian Sausage.
