The 150th running of the Preakness Stakes is set to make history on Saturday, May 17, at Baltimore’s storied Pimlico Race Course, marking a monumental moment in American sports and Mid-Atlantic culture. This landmark edition, celebrating a century and a half of Maryland’s Thoroughbred racing tradition, introduces an exciting new format that blends live racing, world-class entertainment, and community engagement in an unprecedented way. For the first time, the national NBC broadcast will feature a live, trackside musical performance by three-time GRAMMY® Award-winner Wyclef Jean, with a closing set from global icon and GRAMMY® Award-winner T-Pain following the final race.
