
81st Annual Waterford Fair

Since 1943, the Waterford Foundation and the historic village of Waterford have welcomed visitors to one of the nation’s most unique fall fairs. This year, the Waterford Fair celebrates its 81st anniversary, taking place October 3–5, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, with Early Bird entry on Friday at 9 a.m.
The Fair will showcase 86 acclaimed American artisans demonstrating and selling handcrafts, alongside fine art exhibits, local artisan works, historical interpreters, and traditional music performances. Highlights include:
Village-wide homes tour featuring 15 restored historic homes, buildings, and gardens
Live Americana music with acts such as Kate MacLeod & Paul Hammerton Duo, Furnace Mountain Trio, George Jackson & Brad Kolodner, and Chatham Rabbits
Tent Talk Series with eight engaging history and culture presentations
Hands-on children’s activities, including crafts, historic games, and an 1880s classroom reenactment
Food & Drink: gourmet food trucks, baked goods, a farmer’s market, plus Wheatland Spring beers and 24 wines from six Loudoun County wineries
Located in one of only three National Historic Landmark District villages in the U.S., the Waterford Fair offers a chance to step back in time while celebrating American craftsmanship, music, food, and history.
Tickets are available at waterfordfairva.org. Early Bird, multi-day, and group passes available. Gate admission is $25/day for adults, $20 for seniors, students, and military, and free for children under 12 and Waterford Foundation members.
