African Textiles of Dr. Joel Breman at Hill Center

This exhibition features tapestries inspired by the textiles of Dr. Joel Breman and designed by Hill Center students to pay homage to the African tradition of self-expression through textiles. Dr. Breman is an epidemiologist who led the effort to eradicate small pox and who, through his illustrious career in medicine, has lived in multiple African countries and dedicated his life to irradicating tropical diseases.
