Antarctica Cocktail Pop-Up Featuring Mixologists José Cox and Jonathan Henríquez at Arepa Zone

Arepa Zone College Park is thrilled to announce an exclusive cocktail pop-up event on Saturday, December 6th from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., bringing together two of the region’s most exciting bar talents: José Cox, a renowned clarification expert who has been crafting cocktails across the D.C. area for years and leading innovative bar programs throughout the city, and Jonathan Henríquez, known for his work at Michelin-starred Masseria.

The evening will feature a menu of inventive cocktails inspired by Ernest Shackleton’s legendary Antarctic expedition—a story of courage, curiosity, and discovery. Guests can expect a night where science meets storytelling, and where bold creativity and technique push the boundaries of classic cocktail craftsmanship.
