Atlas Brew Works Releases Triple Barrel Aged Tomb Essence Cask

Experience Atlas Brew Works’ cask program with a special Triple Barrel Aged Tomb Essence Cask release on Thursday, December 15th, at the Ivy City Brewery & Tap Room. This one-time release is the product of Sean Palmateer, head of quality assurance, hand selecting a barrel of imperial stout and further aging the beer twice in unique whiskey barrels. From there, the brewery team pulled a small sample of the thrice whiskey barrel-aged imperial stout and cask conditioned it to be gravity poured. The flavor leads with vanilla bean and macadamia nut, followed by dark chocolate and subtle oak. There will be a limited amount of pints available, starting at 4:00 p.m. on release day, so you are invited to get there as soon as Atlas Ivy City opens to try this special release.
