DC’s first craft brewery, DC Brau, is hosting a Burning of the Bock event to celebrate the rerelease of a beloved seasonal brew – The Legislator Dopplebock. On Friday, March 11th at DC Brau, beer lovers are invited to join Brewmaster Jeff Hancock for a traditional German ritual, whereby a hot poking stick, straight from the fire, is inserted into a pint of beer, caramelizing the beer and giving it a smokey character.
