Blind tasting wine is more than a parlor trick, or a way to impress your friends, it is the most effective way to develop your tasting skills. Learn to identify grapes and regions by color, acidity, residual sugar, tannin, alcohol, winemaking techniques, flavor, and aroma to help you improve your ability to assess, judge, describe, and buy wine (for both consumers and wine professionals).

Wine samples should be picked up between 12:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. by appointment on June 2nd from the Capital Wine School (5207 Wisconsin Avenue, Suite #7, Third Floor, Washington DC). Tickets are available for $95 per person, and can be purchased here. The web class will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
