Celebrate the Harvest @ Primrose – Annual Harvest Party

Primrose invites guests to celebrate the bounty of the season at its Annual Harvest Party on Thursday, November 13, from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. This one-night-only event honors the fall harvest, Mid-Atlantic winemaking, and the farmers who help shape the restaurant’s seasonal menu. For $100 per person, guests will enjoy an evening of food, wine, and storytelling that highlights the craftsmanship and community behind the local food and beverage scene.

Throughout the night, acclaimed winemakers Ben Jordan of Lightwell Survey and Commonwealth Crush and Drew Baker of Old Westminster Winery will share insights from their most recent harvests and discuss the evolution of regional winemaking. Local farmers whose produce and ingredients inspire the Primrose kitchen will also be in attendance, connecting guests to the land that fuels each dish. Chef Patrick Benton will curate a menu of passed snacks showcasing the restaurant’s local purveyors, while an assortment of Mid-Atlantic wines will be poured and discussed by the visiting winemakers.

Bar Manager Lia Burrell will also debut a special cocktail for the occasion, the “Red Gingham,” made with locally produced Catoctin Creek rye, calvados, spiced demerara syrup, and egg, a seasonal flip that captures the spirit of autumn. Seating for this intimate celebration is limited, and early reservations are encouraged to secure a spot at one of DC’s most anticipated harvest gatherings. Tickets are $100 per person.
