Chef Matteo's Umbrian Aperitivo

Stellina Pizzeria sets its sights to central Italy and the region of Umbria, hosting a late-afternoon aperitivo that celebrates specialties in local in food and wine. Bordering Tuscany and sitting right above Rome, Umbria is where you'll find some of the most amazing, delightfully undervalued Italian wines. The happy hour event features wines ranging from the refreshing and elegant Trebbiano Spoletino to the deep-colored, aromatically rich Montefalco Sagrantino. To match, Chef Matteo will serve a selection of classic Umbrian bites, including crostini with black truffle and Umbrian lentils, and paccheri alla Norcina with sausage, pecorino, and black truffle. A member of the winery's Valentini family will be present to discuss the pours and pairings as well. Tickets are $35 per person, including food, wine, tax and gratuity.
