The Culinary Historians of Washington invite guests to their annual in-person luncheon at Hulu Hotpot and Skewer House, located at 1488 Rockville Pike A, Rockville, Maryland. The event will take place on Sunday, June 8, 2025, from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m. The cost is $50 for members and $60 for non-members, with reservations required by noon on June 6. Attendees will enjoy an all-you-can-eat experience, featuring individual hot pots with a choice of broths, unlimited proteins, vegetables, and noodles, as well as a hot bar with appetizers. Guests can create their own dipping sauces, order rotating skewers, or use a basket for other grilled selections. Reservations can be made online via the CHoW website or by mailing a check to the Membership Secretary, Clara Raju. After many virtual monthly meetings, this lively gathering offers members a chance to connect and have fun while “playing” with their food.
