Celebrate those amazing souls who not only make the wine and cheese, but cultivate and care for the grapes and animals on the very same property. This is called "Farmstead" in the world of cheese and "Estate-Bottled" in the world of wine—and those who accomplish this feat are few and far between. Your kit includes mellow Point Reyes Toma (cow, California), rare raw milk 6-month Manchego (raw sheep, Spain), local gem Appalachian (raw cow, Virginia), Virginia-made mango chutney, and crispy whole wheat crackers. Château Haut Lartenac Bordeaux Supérieur is partnering and offering their Cuvée des Anges, 2018. This oak-free 75% Cab / 25% Merlot red Bordeaux is made by a 9th-generation winemaker on his family estate near Saint-Émilion. (Add it on for only $16.99). It is recommended that you picking up your kit Friday (or Thursday at the earliest) to keep the cheeses super-fresh. Once you have your kit, watch The Cheese Lady's fun and informative video on Instagram.
