Hi-Lawn's Four-Day Labor Day Grill-Out & Rooftop Picnic Party

As summer starts to wind down, Hi-Lawn, one of Washington, DC’s largest, most expansive rooftops for outdoor dining, drinking and socializing, is celebrating Labor Day with a four-day Rooftop Grill-Out & Picnic Party from Friday, September 2nd to Monday, September 5th. The open-air roof of Union Market will host one extra-long weekend of festivities, including grill specials, lawn picnics, buckets of booze, end-of-summer cocktails, and communal games like corn hole, croquet and jenga. Hi-Lawn is firing up their rooftop grills for the holiday weekend, with cookout favorites like BBQ ribs, burgers & hot dogs. Hi-Lawn will also serve its creative destination-inspired Lawn Dogs, such as the chili/onion/cheddar-topped Coney Dog, the sandwich-inspired BLT Dog, the Seattle Dog topped with cream cheese and crispy shallots, the spiced-up Avo Dog topped with pickled jalapeños, avocado crema and tomato, and the mustard/chili/coleslaw-topped Appalachia Dog. To pair with the grill fare, Hi-Lawn has created some end-of-summer draft cocktails. This event is free to attend, with all food and beverages sold al a carte. September 2nd (2:00 p.m. to midnight), September 3rd (12:00 p.m. to midnight), September 4th (1:00 to 9:00 p.m.), and September 5th (12:00 to 6:00 p.m.). For more information, please click here.
